With the plotters that we arrange (Roland PRO-II), and a transfer machine we can make impressions by subliming on infinity of materials such as t-shirts, flags, sweater shirts, caps, mallots, suits of bath, ceramics, glasses, plates, rugs of mouse, even on wood and metal.
These are only some examples of some of the surfaces on which the impression can be transferred. Helma Design SL print with photographic quality, on special quality paper that later we transfer the ink to the support through transfer machines achieving perefect results in any compound material or covered of polyester, this allows a great number of possibilities.
Helma Design SL offers the print service of subliming to our clients, without photolithographs and without screens, the single client must send the original one to us in computer support.
Subliming is the process to transfer an impression made on a special paper or to transfer in an object or article of polyester or with a covering of polyester or polymer. The impression process is made applying heat of 400ºF on transfer that has been placed on the surface of the product to sublimate. The heat normally is applied with a press or irons thermal. The impression is made using special inks in special printers. The heat changes the impression that has become in the paper to a gas, which penetrates the surface of polymer or polyester. The heat of the press causes the subliming process, turns to gas, the red that has been printed on the transference and opens pores of polymer in such a way that the gas really penetrates through the layer of the surface. Seconds later when the surface has begun to cool, the gas reverts to a solid and the pores of polymer are closed, catching the solid that has formed.
